Eventualmente uno se topa, sin querer, con una canción que le ronda la cabeza una y otra vez. Quizas la melodía, la letra o algo en el estribillo que llenen un vacio incomprensible. Eso me pasó con este tema, así que quiero le den una oportunidad. Far East Movement, ¿quienes son?Wikipedia dice: Far East Movement (estilizado Far⋆East Movement y abreviado FM) es un cuarteto de electro hop con base en Los Ángeles, California. Sus miembros Kev Nish, Prohgress, J-Splif y DJ Virman son de descendencia japonesa, coreana, china y filipina.
Su canción "Like a G6" llegó al número 1 del Billboard Top 100, oyendosé además como fondo del último episodio liberado a la audiencia panamericana de Glee, por la señal de Fox. Creo que fue un capítulo memorable x)
Trayectoria musicalSu primer álbum, Folk Music, fue lanzado el 4 de agosto de 2006.2 El sencillo "Round Round" apareció en la película The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift. Realizaron dos giras mundiales, por Estados Unidos, América del Sur, Asia y Canadá.
A principios de 2009 lanzaron su álbum Animal, que contó con tres sencillos: "You've Got a Friend", "Lowridin" y "Girls on the Dance Floor". En este álbum hubo varias colaboraciones, incluyendo a Lil Rob, Bruno Mars, Baby Bash y Wiz Khalifa.
En febrero de 2010, Far East Movement firmó un contrato con Cherrytree Records, filial de Interscope Records. El 12 de octubre de ese año, lanzaron el álbum Free Wired, que cuenta con colaboraciones de Ryan Tedder, Keri Hilson, Lil Jon, Snoop Dogg, Mohombi, o la diosa del jpop Koda Kumi, entre otros. El 30 de octubre de 2010, su sencillo "Like a G6" consiguió el número 1 en el Billboard Hot 100. El 20 de noviembre, se confirmó que "Like a G6" había conseguido el doble platino, habiendo vendido más de dos millones de copias.
