MTV comenzó el streaming de nuevo material del anime de Thundercats en la Comic-Con International, realizado en Studio 4°C en colaboración de Warner Bros Animation quienes previamente han trabajado en The Animatrix, Batman: Gotham Knight, y Halo Legends. Este remake comenzara a transmitirse en esta semana en los Estados unidos.
La serie original de Thundercats fue transmitido en 1985 con un total 4 temporadas y 130 episodios, que posteriormente tuvo adaptaciones al comic.
